Mr. Vincenzo Ostinelli founded his society in 1923 in Como, the famous town for the production of silk and fabrics with natural yarns such as wool and cotton.

Originally the company was specialized in the production of hand-embroidered shawls and of linen and silk fabrics for lingerie. In 1930 Ostinelli dreamed up to use the silk fabrics to produce women's accessories which will become the symbol of the company: the twill silk 90x90 scarf.

In 1938 there is the turning point: the manufacturer presents its first collection of fringed woollen scarves and shawls. After 85 business years the company may be proud of an outstanding experience in the textile field.

The family management is going on the tradiction granting to their customers high quality items, but always keeping the hand-made peculiarities which characterize our products.
